Canceling your subscription
How the three-step cancellation flow works, when access ends, and what can block scheduling.
How to cancel
Sign in to the account with the active subscription, then open the cancellation page.
The flow has three steps: say why you are canceling, follow any on-screen prompts on the middle step, then confirm cancellation on the final screen.
If cancellation is available for your plan, the subscription is scheduled to end at the close of the current paid billing period.
What happens after cancellation
Paid access usually remains active until the current paid period ends, then the account moves to the free tier.
Renewal is stopped, but previous invoices and billing history remain in your account records.
After you confirm on the last step, you are redirected to a confirmation page that shows access until the end of the paid period.
When cancellation may not be available
If you are already on the free tier, there is nothing left to cancel.
Cancellation may be blocked if the next billing date has not synced from the payment provider yet, or if the next charge is less than 24 hours away.
If cancellation was already scheduled, opening /cancel takes you to the confirmation page instead of starting a new flow.
Important note
Deleting your account is separate from canceling a subscription. If you want both actions, cancel billing first and then use the account deletion flow.
